STUDENTS COACHING / EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES: INDUSTRIAL VISITS/EXCURSIONS / SEMINARS / CONFERENCE.

Students are liberalized to form Associations, Unions, Groups and Organizations to pursue both their academic, professional and spiritual interests that seek to benefit their physical and spiritual growth in accordance with the University’s code of practice and its ethical values.

Besides, there are regular well-organized excursions to other parts of the country as well as outside the country to help interact with the environment and learn more from the environment. These outing programs give students the opportunities to socialize and expand their social network. All students are encouraged to participate.
The University College also organizes regular seminars, workshops and conferences to build the capacity of students in addition to their academic work. Resource persons are drawn from among a wide pool of experts, experienced and successful individuals or groups from whom the students can learn more. The most common seminar program is the “INTERNATIONAL FOREIGN STUDENTS (IFS) CONFERENCE”

As part of the conscious practical efforts to make the teaching and learning relevant to the daily lives of the students, the University organizes industrial visits in the middle of each semester just before or after the mid-semester exams to help students relate the lecture room training to the practical job field. This is compulsory for all students.
However, students have private free consultancy time with the faculty at specific times to enable them solve any personal issue or for personal career planning and development. This may takes place in the faculty room or through internet as well as mobile communication.
